These Windshields Suck

But I am actually sorry about the windshield. That sucks.

I hope you have glass coverage. You don't want to know what the windshields cost.

 

I had a quote for 625 installed its why mine is still broken...

 

i also had a quote for $625 and one for $1,050. lucky i have glass coverage and got it replaced.

Who knew you couldn't punch the windshield? These Gen 3's suck. I'm trading mine in today.

 

Fucking piece of shit vehicle. It's a garbage heap. Worse than syphilis.

How tough do you want the inside of the windshield to be in an accident? If your passenger's head should hit it in an accident do you want it to give, or be rock-like in its resiliancy? Sure, seatbelt and airbag should prevent it, but in a multi-collision wreck the airbag may already have gone off.

My dad's hobby when I was a kid was rebuilding totaled cars and selling them. I remember one project car he got which had a head-sized crater on the inside of the window where the passenger's head had hit it.

 

I'm dumb and never changed my deductible and have to pay 500 for it. But it's getting fixed this week.

 

In Florida, your insurance will pay for a new windshield, no questions asked no money out of pocket.

 

Was watching the latest season of Expedition Overland this weekend and noticed their 2016 Tacoma had a cracked windshield through the entire show. Not good advertising for Toyota.

 

Haven't watched it but if they are out on the trail you want them to stop filming to change a cracked windshield?

Windshields crack for all kinds of reasons from fists, to small rocks on the road that another car kicked up, to changing temps. Its just a fact of life.

 

It seemed to be cracked from the beginning and they never mentioned it happening. I was just wondering if it cracked before they even got to the trail. It just seemed appropriate to mention in this thread.
