10 years ago I used the Costco Auto Buying program and purchased BMW 5 series for $750 under invoice. I tried this trick again yesterday searching for 6MT OR, and a participating Toyota dealer responded that they have no Tacomas - neither on the lot nor incoming and no ETA.

 

I wanted to get a 4G and get the vanity plate PRIZPMPR.

 

My 6yo son thinks I’m crazy when I tell this story, and maybe nobody here will even believe me, but I can still remember a time when you could actually go to your Toyota dealer and buy a fully loaded TRD OR with power seats & six cylinders for just 46 grand. No, I’m serious.

I guess times were just a lot simpler back in 2023.
