They are on the dealer lots!!!

Before I bought my 2016, I looked into the Costco Auto buying program. Back then they would only do Costco pricing on an SR or SR5 (no TRD). That is what I was told back then.

 

Haven't seen the 4th gen yet in person. Found one at a local dealership in Tustin CA nearby and test drove it. Felt pretty smooth and seat position feels a bit higher up than the 3rd gens.
One of the most interesting features I didn't know about yet on the 4th gens is the ability to raise/lower the headlight beam position from the cab.

4x2 SR5 ($37,200) with cold weather package/audio upgrade (+$3,740) $42,505.

Sales guy said it has been on the lot for 5 days or so because of the markup.

Still can't stand how much the tailgate/rear end of this looks like a Chevy Colorado and also bummed that Magnetic Grey is no longer a color option.

 

How much markup were they asking?

 

If I remember correctly, I think $5K+/-? Although, I bet you could beat them down on the price some....I would try to at least lol.

You can probably cross reference the sticker price to Toyota's manufacture pricing list.

How was the power delivery when you drove it? Could you feel the low end torque of the turbo 4?

I guess. I think the OC buyer is actually interested in it, though. I wouldn’t consider buying a vehicle without them.

What? You wouldn't consider buying a truck for 52K+ after TTL to be a good idea? But it has a heated steering wheel.

 

If some OC buyer wants to pay what that truck is gonna cost after TTL because it has a cold weather upgrade more power to them.

I live where it actually is cold and wouldn't look twice at that pile.

 

Sure, it’s stupid to pay the ADM. I’m just saying the cold weather package makes sense to the market it’s being sold in, which seemed to be part of your criticism.
