They are trying to Ban Pit Bulls

Good idea!

 

I hope the bill never passes!!! Media is always saying its a pit bull, when actually its a mutt. F the media and all ignorant bastards that think pit bulls should be band, that is like banning a certain kind of race! Educate your minds people! Do some research!

 

I defeated it the first time but it has come up just last week again. I am already on top of it though. I spoke to an audience about why it was a bad idea then posted results from the ATTS (American Temperament Society) http://atts.org/statistics.html
They've been keeping tabs since 1977, it is also admissible in court.

+2, problem is with a few idiots who exploit dogs aggressiveness.

 

I let them know that the only way the get my girl is the same way they get my guns bullets first. Being a small country town they agreed it was about the same thing. You have responsible gun owners just like responsible dog owners. Thanks for the luck.

 

If you direct that aggressiveness they make hella good weight pull dogs. Pulling thousands of pounds.

I have only known 2 pits, friends dogs, beautiful animals with great disposition. owners are dog people like Caesar Romero, need a strong owner, guess any dog does.

 

In 2004 Ch. Jemm's BigWilly pulled a personal best of 6,165lbs in Rail pull!
A ll5 lbs. bully pulled 3,325 lbs.
A 35 lbs. APBT pulled 925 lbs.

Thats off the top of my head, I read alot about them.

Everyones opinion is valued but I ask that you post some facts to support your comment. How about you post me some facts as of to why they should be banned. I mean actual facts that would be admissable in a court of law, take all the time you need. By facts I don't mean news paperarticles. Or my friend said. You must have a recorded event with pics of the dog. The dogs I am defending are pure no matter what breed. That means that they must also meet the standard are it isn't so.

Have you ever heard of innocent until proven guilty? I bet you would appreciate that same consideration.

Kind of funny. My Brother's GF has a pit bull, and the thing is scared of EVERYTHING! It took a year of going over there before it would let me pet it.

I tell you what's a real shame. I have a housemate years ago who worked for the local animal control. If they got Pit bulls from owners who had raised them to be fighting dogs, they automatically put the dogs down. No questions asked. There was simply no way to make the animals safe again. That's a real shame.

The thing is a true fighting dog is not human aggressive only DA or AA. When these dogs fought they were in a ring with 3 people and another dog. When a turn was called the owners had to physically pick up their dogs. These dogs were not confused, and did not bite their owners. Also a losing dog was not always put down, you don't have to win to prove yourself game.

Rudbwoy7s- you need to do some reading or watch the movie Walker Payne. Hopefully you can follow that better than my asking you for facts. This one has pictures.

 

Nah, I'm good. having a pit for a pet is like having a loaded gun as a keychain.
