Well I ended up with a Super White Tacoma. Seems like half the ones built are white! I was hoping to get a red or blue but white was all that was available in the DC configuration I needed.

I had a friend that left all his cars unlocked all the time for this reason. He still had his shit fucked up. They don't always check for unlocked doors.

A couple of decades ago midtown Manhattan was horrible for breakins. (My friend took me there to visit a strip club--long story...) Everyone parking on the street would remove their radios, and leave a sign in the window "No radio."

One guy came back to find his car window broken, and the vandal had added the following to the bottom of the note: "Just checking."

Knew a guy who use to get rid of used oil real easy.
Put used oil back in plastic containers, back in cardboard box, glued shut like new.
Where he worked was not in a very good area.
So he put box in bed of truck when he went to work.
Box was gone at end of his shift. :D

Lot of work for nothing, considering it probably got dumped down the sewer anyway. Thieves aren't known to worry about the environment.

Not far away ... this makes me rethink getting a Tonneau, maybe the softopper, they can just unsnap and take a look at the cheaper stuff I would put there, the good stuff would be in the access cab.

Unfortunately, the ST is not very obvious how to open, esp for a crim. They'd probably just slash it also? Although, a replacement rear panel is pretty cheap. comparatively.

I do really like my ST though.

It's always best to use dumbass thieves to haul your trash. It costs money to get rid of tube TV's nowadays, and normal people won't take them for free. So, you put out on the driveway with a sign Used TV, works great: $20
And they'll steal it, if you put Free to a good home, it'll still be there in the morning.

Then they take that trash and dump it on the side of the road, in a creek, or at a trailhead.

Any idea how many oil collection facilities there were in states the 60's and 70's ?
There is a good epa article on it you might want to read up on.
