If it is worthless why dont you remove it and drive with out it?
Also I really dont give shit of what others think. Its my truck hence no modification/destruction with out my permission. Doctors think appendix does nothing in your body but I dont think you would be happy if they just cut it out.

I recently had mine taken in for the same thing- they say it was a safety concern, so would rather them shave my pedal then to run into a van full of children. You cant even tell the difference

 First: Not sure which part of its my property and I make a choice you dont get.
Second: I use my truck like a truck and not like a car. Trucks have larger pedals for a reason, driving with work bots, snow shoes. Basically its going to be inconvenience for me so I don't want to have it cut.

I've been declining this because I dont want the reflash. This will kill the ability to bury my rear end in the sand to load / unload my quad at the dunes.

So if the brake is pressed, then the gas along with the brake, the "brake override" doesnt kick in and kill the gas?

Hmmm. good to know. Last time I was at the dealer the service tech said that the reflash would affect my ability to bury the rear in the sand so I didn't do it.

No I dont think you getting. Its mine property which means in my case its not WELL
Not sure what kind of work bots you are wearing,. All I know you could be 5 foot tall midget wearing womens moccasins. In my case I need lower part of the pedal which means if they cut it I am going to be atleast upset and no I won't let go if they do it, especially if they do it with out asking me first.

I admit I didn't notice a difference but I didn't like how they went about it.

this is the funniest shit ive heard on this site. wouldn't it make it easier to push a small pedal with boots on and i think its maybe a 1/4 of an inch you lose and i dont think someone is going to say something bad about your truck because your pedal is shaved who cares. I can understand that going behind someones back is shady but did you first notice the shaved pedal before or after you read the receipt

I noticed it when I went to get in my truck and my floor mats weren't there, then I looked closer and the pedal was shaved.

Well, it can't get caught under the mat since the mat goes past the pedal... I tried. Oh and I got reimbursed for the mats, I used them as a reason to not get my pedal hacked at.

Yah, the kinda thick "ish" rubber ones that say Tacoma. They replace them with ones that look kinda like it but prolly 1/8th inch thick.
