thicker speaker wire question?

    If i put thicker speaker wire from my sub to the terminals to the box will that help with more power? I think i will put the same to the amp to the box also.

    Only if they are too small to begin with. What gauge are you currently using and what length of wire run? What power of amp? Anything beyond 12 orf 14ga is probably wasted.

    im running cheap 12 gauge wire.

    Cheap is irrelevant. If its copper and 12ga it is all you need. Thicker gauge gets you nothing . Spending more gets you nothing.

    Yeah that's plenty unless you're rolling something like 1500-2000 watts.
