So i am on the waiting list for a satoshi. Unfortunately i am too impatient so i ordered the pre formed grill mesh from www.customcargrills.com to DIY. It is easy enough.

Perfect fitment and the tutorial they provide is plenty informative if you know how to DIY stuff.
Probably took an hour start to finish after i took the grill off and had it all epoxied up. let it cure for 24 on the workbench then slapped it back on.

Hardest descision now is "toyota" letters or TRD in lower corner. I did go with the slotted mesh so im curious whether the TRD badge i ordered have will fit through the slots. This goes for the Tacoma letters as well. Specifically the FJ old school letters on ebay. Im yet to order but ill test the trd badge and see if it fits first.

The Land Cruiser emblem comes with a couple of threaded plastic stand offs. Definitely won't fit through that mesh. I cut mine flush, and super glued a couple of small bolts to the back of the emblem, and used rubber washers on both sides of the grill, to keep from rubbing through the powdercoat.

I'm going to have to just order the Land cruiser letters and do some finagling.

    I'm in Coventry.

I used the land cruiser TOYOTA emblem and cut the letters out so they were individual. I also cut the centers of the O's out. Then painted them.
