Things that make you say...WTF! [2.0]

Right. I never got a memo, sticky, PM, infraction or any other reference that saying WOULD is against TW rules.

Instantly closing a thread and saying I did something purposely without regard to rules is BS, and not true so far as I was made aware of the rules.

Sean266 has a post with him and 4 pictures at Mr. Olympia and a poster replied "would, wouldn't, wouldn't, would" to a picture of Sean266 with a woman, a man, a man, and a woman.

So saying that it is a rule is a load of crap. It is said here frequently and I'm not buying excuses as to why mine is the one time that matters, especially when the above referenced post has been unaltered my mods nor given any mind.

Saying would is either okay or it isn't okay. Picking and choosing when to enforce a rule that was decided on without proper notice isn't the way to handle business. Quoting me like TF did was ridiculous. Can close the thread but can't do it without pointing a finger. How.many other threads have been locked and finishes with quoting a member who was to blame? None? Got it.

This one was a well used thread over several years, better enforce a insignificant rule and then point the finger before I close it.

Hardly acting like a child. I have asked for an answer on why one poster can say something and another can't and nobody can say anything. Why a poster is responsible to read entirety of thousand page threads IN CASE A NEW RULE IS CREATED AND POSTED IM THE THREAD and why, when I wasn't aware of these "several warnings" that a mod immediately closed the thread and didn't allow me to edit the post, get a warning or ban. Tigerfan closed it. Not me. And telling me that isn't the case isn't true.

Well, since this is WTF 2.0, how about some WTF.

 

Which is why I won't not question it. Tigerfan overreacted and chose a rule that isn't official or widely known, and also one that is widely broken. Closed a thread over it and didn't own it, rather he quoted my often used post wording and laid blame to me and to it.

No mod will speak of it, only on the forum. I've sent Tigerfan several PMs. I didn't break a rule, at least one that isnt posted in the rules of the forum. No other mod has PMed me about it but now several can comment.publicly, just not privately? Lol

And quoting me in the final post so I can receive neg rep and pissy PMs from.members, like I purposely broke a rule that I was completely aware of.

Neither is the case. I repeated a post that is used here frequently, in a thread that I posted in 49 times out of 2000 posts in 6 weeks. I was told they posted several times within that thread that WOULD isn't allowed. I never frequented that thread and didn't see this "rule." Nor did I receive a PM or email with an update to forum rules that reflected this, and since I.didn't read every page of WTF or ever notice it being locked prior to this final time, then I'm to blame aand childish.

Yet nobody else knows why WOULD is outlawed, either, because its not against posted TW rules, its said day after day for linger than i have been a member, it is choosingly enforced and I'm the fall guy, which is ridiculous.

 

My question is: Why do the mods punish everyone for the actions of one or two members? Why not just give the violators a vacation? Seems like the most logical solution...

Because no one cares who you "would" or "wouldn't" do. It's not a funny or witty remark and it doesn't contribute positively to a thread in any way.

 

But if you look.. most posts on this forum arent witty and they dont contribute positively.. like people that dont like prerunners or people that use spacers.. same thing isnt it? not trying to argue but i dont want to break any rules..

No. That's my post in entirety. Tongue in cheek, ultra sarcastic reply to the post above of the woman's face with 2 mouths instead of 2 eyeballs.

 

"Would" is so offensive that it shuts down the WTF thread, yet we've got a five year old thread that's still active on texting a girl and asking if you can "tap that"? I understand if the site is trying to be SFW family friendly, but that's not the impression that I get anywhere on any of the boards of this site.
