Interesting, so the Dakar Hilux doesn't use the stock truck's frame. Looks like they mount the cab over a tubular spaceframe.

What if the damn airbags went off when he went from the 199 to 0 MPH glitch? Not to smart, or if they f'd up and crashed into a tree by making the wheel jerk.

Also, they had to of installed a transponder or something that hooked into the ecu, so its not like they could do this to a random Prius.

I think I know what you mean, I have to disagree with it.

Yeah, pretty sure they are wired into the car, if not directly, they have wired a transponder in like you said. I imagine they played around with it some to ensure the airbags wouldn't go or maybe they flat out removed the airbags when they removed the dash.

The wheel jerk thing was definitely sketchy though!!

Glad I'm not the only one.

I went one step further, actively wishing that the end of that vid was the brake lights coming on, the leg snapping off, the camera careening into the pavement and then instant darkness.

With a fade in of bold white letters on the black screen...."This is what happens when you ride like a fucking douche. Don't be that guy. And don't lane split. Noone likes those guys."
