that's stupid. My nephew is 7 and plays recreation basketball and they made it so they couldn't steal b/c his team was beating the other team too bad. When he plays baseball, I yell out the score from the stands haha

getting offline to make a phone call was a pain
but, not being able to get a phone call while online was downright stupid
...someone is trying to get in touch with you because so-and-so got into a car accident or something... but, you don't find out till 4 hours later, cause your looking at pictures of cats

How about not having the Internet? I was telling my 10 year old nephew about learning how to fix my cars as a teenager by either trial and error or reading a book. He asked why I didn't just look online. Took a few minutes to explain there really was no such thing back in 1991.
