How about when you buy music you had to buy the entire album, not all this .99 cent song bullshit. I thank my dad for keeping me old school, all the music I buy nowadays is on vinyl

that was all fine and well, except when the rest of the album was terrible, and you just blew $14 on one song
even if it was out on a single, they were about $6 or so

and then your tape gets eaten, your cd or record gets scratched/broken
having a digital copy (if you backup well) is pretty bombproof... you should always have the song in working form
    that's kinda nice

That's the problem. Musicians today only have the talent to be a one hit wonder. I don't think I can find many people in our age bracket who will sit and listen to thick as a brick- jethro Tull or frank zappa- roxy and elsewhere and others

I know I am a younger guy so I don't really fit into the goal of this thread, but even I can see how smart phones are fucking up kids. Whenever I visit home, my sister is on her phone in her room, isolated by herself.

That's why I have vowed not to give my kid a phone until they are in high school, and it is going to be a flip phone or something that only works well for calls, if you can even get one of those by that point in the future.

I know I probably am overestimating rads in my head, but I can just imagine in 50 years all the kids of this generation walking around with massive ear/finger growths from all the damn radiation they are taking in 24/7 365/yr.
