That sucks man. I'd go to another dealership if you can. Sounds like it might just be them.

Pop-n-lock tailgate. New radio knobs. Rear step.
The rear-end clunk occurs just before the vehicle stops and mostly when cold and coming to a stop with moderate braking. Not a huge deal, just annoying.

Pay attention to the braking process as well. If you are a late-braker, the sensitive OR brake booster coupled with the downshifting automatic can make smooth stops difficult under moderate braking. You'll get better at it with time, but this added driver challenge is unlike other vehicles I've owned. If you leave lots of margin and slow at 0.05g you'll never notice it. Again, this is mostly just something to know about if you're easily annoyed.

I'm a tactile guy and bad ergonomics can drive me nuts... if you're similar, spend some time in it without driving it too, turn every dial and push every button. Flip the back seats down, take the headrests out, listen to your music, make a phone call, open the tailgate, look where the tiedowns are, turn the signals on, look at the lights from outside, do you like the display from the inside? Is there a warning beep or buzzer that will drive you nuts? How's the location of the e-brake, mirror adjusters, climate controls?

There's more to using the truck than just driving it so make sure to take that into consideration as well!

    Good luck.

I do have the premium and tech package. I don't know all the features with it. I got it mostly because my wife wanted dual zone climate control and heated seats.

I ordered the P&T package mainly for the heated seats.

i would also say this about myself. so i took her to an upholstery shop and had them carve a nice bucket into my seat and drop the seating position. it went from the most uncomfortable seat i own to the most comfortable in 2 hours for $200... highly recommended.

Fascinating. Can you supply pics? Would be very curious to see what this looks like.

i don't have pics now... if you were in DFW i'd meet you to try it out. it looks a little more puffy than the pass. side but you won't really see much difference. the difference is in the contour carved into it which you feel. the space left after carving off a layer to drop the seat position was filled back up with light foam so the leather cover doesn't slack. if i can get some pics later i will, just not sure you'll see much difference. but it feels fantastic. before doing this i needed a solution... after about 90 minutes my right leg was going consistently numb.

Mind sharing what upholstery shop? I'm way on the south side of the metromess, but it sounds like it might be worth the drive.

I'm an early and gentle "braker" so I probably would not notice the braking issue you mentioned. Of course, we can't always stop as gently as we want! But from what you describe I don't think I'd have an issue when doing a 'not gentle' stop.

Thanks for the clarification on the rear-end clunk. Must be when the AT shifts into first gear maybe? Or something with the drive train?
