Im new to the 2nd gen TACOs so i cant seem to find anything major that i would of liked Toyota to have made better, done differently or at least have a option for, the only thing that i would have liked Toyota to have is a option for bench seat in the front like the older toyota trucks(80`s and 90`s not sure on the earlier 2000`s) did. Oh and have the outlet in the bed a 240!

Is there anything that you would of liked Toyota corp to have made differently, have a option for, or just change? If any.

Seriously 240v outlet... Do you know what goes into making 240? What do you plan on running with it?

Run my welder off the truck instead of pulling my generator to run my welder, run power tools out in the field, use my truck like a generator i could go on and on

If my Honda EU6500 can run 240 i dont see how hard it would be for a TACO engine to run it or make it run it

You're better off with the generator. I don't think you realize how big the inverter needs to be to run a 120v welder, let alone a 240V welder.

They could have surely come up with a blower motor that lasts more than 3 months without squeaking!

Engineer out the super-loud tick from the engine bay - thing sounds like my 10 year old Mustang when I traded it in.

Height adjustment on the seat. I hate having to hunch down to use the rear view.

Obviously they're doing most of it right though - the Taco is by far the best-selling compact in America.

Well if you think about it, TACOs never even have a outlet in the back to begin with and now they do, i dont think the inverter is a problem

My welder isnt a 240 welder but i was told that it is better to over power a welder then to have it starve, just saying it would be nice to have a 240 so that you know you can handle ANYTHING you plug in it

Ok, how about this. That inverter can only supply 3.2 Amps. Now you need one that can supply 10x as much amperage. Then you need a second one for the other 120v leg. They're going to have to make a triple cab extra short bed just for the room for the inverter.

It doesn't have an inverter. It's a generator. An inverter changes the Sine wave so the current alternates. It's two completely different principals.

Yeah that would be a nice option to have a straight front, yeah the ride is a bit more bumpy but you can do hell of a lot of stuff to a straight front i mean you can with IFS but it would cost you more.

IS there a way to make the Tacomas engine work like a generator engine so that you wouldnt need a inverter? If not ok, but would there be a way to at least bump up the amperage in the bed outlet?
