I have to be honest, I sometimes come to tacomaworld just to see if there is a mod I haven’t thought of. That’s the first step, right? Admitting that I have a problem?

Eh, Tacomaworld is more like going to your local back-ally dealer and saying, "Got anything I haven't tried yet?"

The things I have done have mostly been sparked by my own perceived necessity. Maybe not always a specific part, but I knew I wanted shocks, so I'd come on here for experiences of different shocks before pulling the trigger. Hammer hangers are the exception. I never had a perceived need for them until after I learned about them.

    Things TW taught me:

    - AC drain mod
    - bed stiffeners
    - oil change every 600 miles with full blackstone labs oil analysis

i do enjoy reading about all the mods but haven't been persuaded to buy anything. there are some good ideas here.

the first thing that annoyed me and i changed was the OE factory shift knob for the MT. i replaced it with the grey colored TRD round knob i purchased from Amazon and a sleeve from etsy that makes a nice transition.

i have a bed mat and ARE canopy that are must haves, for me. otherwise, my truck is stock and will likely stay that way.

    hahaha you welcome

same. Plus I was running old dakars. Didn’t even realize they were tearing my shackles until I jumped on TW. So I went from researching replacement shackles to just doing the entire hangers, shackles and Alcan leaf packs smh

I know of one. Its made by a certain former vendor that was banned from here - the kind of vendor that thinks customer service begins with the phrase "you must have installed it wrong." They sell a number of enticing products, but you are gambling on whether it works or not.

And that's the thing I didn't know I needed - popcorn for the endless amount of gossip. It's better than a soap opera around here.

Thanks! I'm running @WarFab Armor now discontinued Abrahms. Love them but believe they were discontinued because of low demand.
