All you second gen folks out there please comment on what item(s) you wish your
truck had from the factory but doesn't... And Why?

I have to say for me it is : Ability to move the hood prop to the alternate side of the hood.
Ever been in that situation where that hood prop is just right in your way ? Me too.

My second item : Electric Sunroof It's just awesome. my last car had one.

Many of the other suggestions are nice like manual transfer case. I don't need heated mirrors, but they are usefull on those wet/foggy/cloudy days.

    Lots baby!

This may help you with your first wish. I did this when my truck was pretty new. I replaced the prop rod with lifting struts.

You can replace the bed bolds in front of the bed with D rings. I replaced all of mine.

Cruise control would be nice. Not sure if I'm wired already though I suspect not since I'm a single cab.

I have added intermittent wipers and the stock fog lights to mine long ago but those were wants I had.
