Think I found a needle in a haystack

Friend of mine calls me late last night and tells me his hunting buddy knows of an 04 Tacoma that his neighbor is selling because he bought a full size Tundra. So I called. Here is what the details are, and yes he has all docs and receipts. He told me I could have it for 7800. I said I'll do it and pick it up early this week (few hours from me). Body is solid too. The rear bumper has small amount of rust. What do you think

X cab or single cab? I own,or my wife own a single cab. I hate driving it. I have the x cab version. It rides so much better.

Otherwise, it's a good price.

 

Single...also looking at that 95 V6 Auto with 200k that I have a thread on. New frame and paint on that one and he wants 5800

 

I personally wouldn't ever want anything less than an X-Cab, but that's up to you. If you're a young single guy, then I'd go for it; sure is a good price! Should last you for 10 years at least!

 

It’s a toss up. The body and engine are probably better on the 2003. I’d go for it.

 

Single cab is fine. My gf has a 2000 single cab 2wd... Rides just fine

 

My single cab trucks felt way more nimble than my current truck.

 

Agreed, I'd like to lean my chair back from time to time to relax, single cab I cannot do that. x-cab or double cab.

The body on the 95 has been painted and 0 rust..like the V6 a tad over the 4cyl

Nope on the 4 cylinder. Do the x cab. You will love the v6.
