Think I'm going to paint the wheels, input?

I bought these wheels with the gunmetal center because I was bored/over all black wheels. When they arrived the center section was darker than I was expecting and honestly look black in all but direct sunlight.

I really like the rustoleum colors for wheels and have used them with success and found steel grey which is between gunmetal and silver. I think it ties into the body color and skid better. I'm going to keep the lip gloss black as is and only paint the center section.

I photochopped it (original top, steel gray bottom) and I think I like it but I was going to see what input y'all might have for other colors/ideas.

They make a spray on peal-away coating; maybe worth considering if you may change your mind.

A gray color truck gives you a lot more latitude. Either one looks good.

I also find black wheels a little stifling. FCA started painting the wheels dark charcoal on 2017-18 Wrangler Recons and the optional wheels on 2015-19 Dodge Challenger Scat Packs and it got it perfect IMO: still dark —darker than gunmetal, but not to the point that it hides the wheel design.

I’m not a fan of black wheels.

I vote the bottom picture. That color offset looks sick.

4Runner Trail wheels and Toyo Open Country ATII tires 265-70-17. Cosmetic stuff like Pro grille and OffRoad black bumper trim, vinyl delete on side, added hood graphic, OEM tube steps.
    I like the top better.

2nd vote for all gray. If there's a two-tone I like the lighter on the outside, but the solid color is perfect.

Ha! I like the all grey steel. Looks awesome! I think that black wheels blend into the tire where it’s hard to tell the difference.

I’d keep it as it, looks good!

I decided that I'm definitely going to at least keep the black lip so the paint doesn't get jacked whenever tires are mounted/dismounted. So I'm back to just the center.
