Think this is too much to tow?

I have the 2.7 access cab in the pic below. Im wondering if hauling ATV in the bed and my little tent trailer that has a gross weight of 1400lbs on the hitch will be too much? Anyone do this yet? Hauling the trailer is not bad, but that was with now weight. Thoughts?

 

Should be fine. Wont win any races but it should do alright.

Thats what Im thinking. Say at worst my ATV is 600-700 lbs. That added to the dry tongue weight of 133 from the camper is only about 850, and no more then 900-1000 all loaded. Really the ATV will be about 400 though

 

I haul a full size 800 bush quad and my 4500 pound travel trailer. I have airbags but the truck still does fine.

 

Best estimate is that my boat & trailer weighs 2100 pounds, I won't win any races, but it's safe and it isn't a strain on the truck. I keep it at 65 or under and do not tow in overdrive.

I have an outlander 800 and the back wheels hang out a bit. They are not on the tailgate but I can't close the tailgate. I would think there's a good chance a reny would fit

i tow my 14ft bass boat at highway speeds in 5th no problem, granted its not that heavy. Coming from my old straight 6 jeep i can definitely feel it back there more but the 2.7 is a workhorse and gets the job done

 

I'm going to look into that. But I only tow the boat to the ramp, less than 5 miles from the house. If I start towing it further, I'll do something different with a taller stinger in the hitch.
