    Regearing should be done with 35's no matter what. 33's with street use are fine but 33's with a lot of wheeling should heavily consider it.

    Heh you guys had me going, I was almost certain my 4x4 4L had 3.73, but saw 4.11. Ha. Ya according to Toyota, it IS 3.73 even on the MT for the v6.

    Driving with a locker in the snow is a great way to end up in a ditch if you're not being careful.

    Open diff in 4x4 is much safer driving in the snow.

    As for regearing. I suppose with a 4cyl and 285's regearing would be more beneficial. However I have a v6 w/ 285's and although its a little slower, it's not that bad.

    I miss-axed. The guy to whom I was responding said he went to 4.11's, but he already had 4.10s. I was confused by his statement.

    I know they have 4.10's though, because I have them too. :D

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    Well I have 4.10 gears and they do fine with my 33's when i go to 35's I will be re gearing most likely 4.88's but I'm not sure yet if i just want to go 4.56. Ive got time seeing on my 33's are still pretty new

    4.56 gears, rear trutrac,DT header, 235/85r16 Duratracs, 2nd filter pulled, inter.wipers, Cruise control, Factory alum. whls/winter tires(2nd set), Afe pro Dry-S , Dumbo eared flaps cut down.
    Yea, the snow was offroad 3" or so on some worn rock in that situation. one other reason i didnt get the locker on that rig was the onroad driving i was doing.
