    Hi Guys and Gals,

Just joined in. I have a 2015 TRD. I have been reading the threads for months. It's time to lift this thing up a bit. Nothing crazy. Just want the look. Thinking 3" level kit and 285's and keeping stock rims. Any suggestions? My first Tacoma was a 1990 Tacoma, 3" body with 33"x12.50's BF Goodrich A/T's. Kept it for years. Wish I still had it! Never done a suspension lift. Had multiple chevy trucks but all body lifts.

Welcome! I think if youre wanting to put 285s on your stock rims, youll need some spacers so that you dont rub on your upper control arms since the stock wheels dont have enough backspacing

Spidertrax or bora that are hubcentric are a good option. If i was doing wheel spacers, id definitely go with the good ones

    Welcome to TW!

3" is right at the max height as far as CV angles and upper control arms go. Its usually recommended changing to an adjustable UCA that will help with CV angles. Also, you may still rub some if you move up to 285s. A lot of guys have had to do some additional minor trimming, or a cab mount chop to stop rubbing. Just some things to keep in mind.
