    Hello guys and gals,

I have a 2018 SR5/AC/AT with the 2.7L engine. Stock tires are 245/75/16. I’m considering bumping up to 265/75/16 AT because I love the look. I want to keep the stock wheels and no lift.

I know I’ll lose some MPG and the speedo/odo will be off a bit. My main concern is loss of power. Any of you have this size tire on a 4 banger? Is the power loss negligible or significant? Any feedback is appreciated.

After I bought a set of TRD/OR wheels, I went from the 245/75 to 265/60. Wider, but same tire height. Was planning to go to that size with the original steel wheels, but ran across a great deal on the OR wheels. Speedometer and odometer didn’t change when I checked them against my Garmin GPS, but I took a bit of a hit on gas mileage…about 5% according to my calculations.

I have a 2014 regular cab with the 2.7L 4 cyl. in it. I went from stock tires and rims to TRD OR wheels with Michelin 265/75/16 AT tires. The rims are a little bit lighter bur the tires are much heavier. I really like the tires and the look but I definitely feel the difference. Speedometer is off by about 2 mph.
