I've seen them done around my area. The ones that I like the best kept the factory color scheme (keep the black areas "black" and keep the color areas "color"). The ones that I didn't like used a solid color and didn't follow any color scheme. With all the prep work for 2 color (and matching OE color) the work will probably cost as much as a decent paint job anyway. If your going to keep the truck for a long time, I'd say Do It if it's what you want. You cant hurt the resale value much on a high mileage older vehicle.

Its going to be a bitch to keep clean. Also remember you can never wax or polish it again. What's done with the liner is it.

I was planning on keeping the factory color scheme. And doing all the badges in black bed liner as well. I think it would look pretty clean

Not w/Monstaliner. Easiest vehicle I ever cleaned. Usually just rain washed off all dirt & mud.

It's your ride do what u wish not for me though and your resale value will be in toilet u will will will have to sell it soley as a off road bush buggy most people won't want it for a daily driver but with net global sales u can move it for sure but it's a beauty as is it would be a shame to ruin it give it some serious thought I like the white not tan

Like I said, that's what I found when doing research but didn't claim it to be gospel. It was just what people who had done it were saying on forums, and it steered me away from it. If OP is going to keep this truck for ever, I don't think it really matters. Thanks for giving me the info though, you deff corrected my thoughts on cleaning. With regular truck liners I've never gotten some dirt out, but I guess I've not ever tried too hard either.

As for repairs, say you dent something, I don't think you can just pop it back out? Again, you have it, so I'll trust your real life experience.

I owned my Toyota pickup truck for about 13 years I sold it about a year ago and I must say the best thing I ever did to it was to rhino line it.. my truck has tons of mods from suspension to a train horn to many things to list.. lol.. it wasn't a hardcore rock crawler or anyting but I would take it on the trails almost every other weekend for some off-roading fun.. so it would get a lot of branch scratches Rock chips and stuff like that on the original paint but when I rhino lined it I was able to be carefree.. I even parked it in a very sketchy neighborhood one time and I guess somebody tried to key my truck and it must have ended quite badly for them because all I could see was the sparkles where their key got sanded down on my door but otherwise no damage to my vehicle.. lol.. after a couple years the rhino lining seems to look very dry and faded from the sun but with a simple bed liner restorer I could get my truck looking just as good as it did when I first got it done and I would only have to do this treatment once a year or every other year depending on how rough the weather was.. some of the things said on this thread are true and some are not for example the painter told me that it would be a p i t a to remove this.. ask for resale depending on what car you do it it actually greatly appeals to a niche market and in my case the buyer was willing to pay a lot more than KBB when I sold my truck as they found it more desirable for its purpose..

Once the metal shape changes, from a dent, it won't hold up well.

That's what im hoping for. I stress so much about my vehicles and would love to be able to have peace of mind while I'm on trails or even in parking lots with careless people

I went thru some serious, serious brush/trees. After 4 years of it going thru hell, it had 1 scratch I couldn't get out. It makes it tougher against door dings & things like that.
