Thinking about buying a 05 Tacoma double cab TRD off road

Yeah, haveing my mechanic check it out, and if everything checks out, I'm gonna get it.

 

Well, put my deposit down on my truck today. just waiting for the title for my wrx to come in the mail so I can sell it. Already have a laundry list of things I am going to buy for the taco.

 

Still waiting on the title for my WRX, supposedly it went out in the mail on Friday.

Tomorrow I pick up the truck and take it to my mechanic to look it over. AC has already been fixed, so I will definitely be able to test that out, since it's supposed to be 95 degrees tomorrow!

 

WOOHOO! Title showed up yesterday. Guy is flying in to buy my car on the 17th, then I should be able to go pick up my truck.
Taking the truck to my mechanic today to have it looked over.

 

WOOT! Truck passed inspection. Frame looks good, everything else looked fine! Cant wait to get it.

1 question I had was, the gas door cover, the bottom hinge is rusted and broken. the top one is fine. Is it possible to get that fixed easily/cheaply?

Should be picking this up next week. WRX goes to its new owner Friday. I stopped by the dealer this morning and washed off some bird poop off the hood that I had seen as I drove home from work last night. LOL. Does that mean I am obsessed?

WOOHOO! Bank didn't hold the check, so I got to pick up my truck this morning. I was supposed to pick it up monday so they could wash it, but i couldn't wait!

Weather tech in channel visors, smittybilt nfab side steps and a extang trifecta tonneau cover.

Reinstalled the step bars correctly today and got my hitch out. It was rusted in the hitch. Finally got it out!
