I dont know the exact numbers but my aunt and uncle owned a mobile pressure washer business and even had a guy they had hired to do the work. They seemed to be doing pretty good with it until 2008 or so. Its probably a pretty good gig.

I second "The 4L V6 is a very reliable engine with lots of bottom end"

I have the V6,(2007) just over 100,000 miles and would NOT trade that truck for anything. Manual tranny. I had a 4 popper before that. Both the access cab. Never going back to 4. Of course, when I bought the 4 cylinder I was also driving a jacked up Z28. Still miss the rumble and purr of that one.

Now, as a nod towards your comment on space under the hood. The gen 2 V6 is the bitch of all bitches to work on. that thing is crammed in under that hood. I can't imagine being a guy with big hands and working on that thing. I did the starter some years ago (they had a batch of starter contacts with too much copper (brass? can't remember which) and guess who got a one of those starters?) Can't even imagine hands bigger than mine trying to get that thing out of there. but... you spend more time driving it than working on it - it is a toyota afterall.
