I have no experience at all with systems, but what would be a good amp and maybe 2 10's for an ext cab? I don't want to have the bass overpowering, and I want deep bass also. Thanks!

Are you still wanting to be able to have both rear seats?

Going to be a lot of opinions as everyone has their own likes that honestly may not match up to the sound you are looking for.

I'd suggest going to some reputable local audio stores where you live so you can actually see and hear different equipment. Talk to the installers and get a feel for work needed, requirements to run, space needed etc. etc. This is going to give you your best feel for things you like and what sort of sound you like. You may decide that only one 10 is enough for you or, who knows, you might decide that even two 10's don't have the sound you want and start looking at 12's or more. Alternatively, you might find 8's are to your liking. Just depends.

I'm trying to to take up both rear seats, i saw a box that just took up the floorboard. I have no idea what I want to get, so I'm open for anything!

A good single 10 will hit very hard, and very low.. Don't buy BS equipment and you won't get BS sound.

Look at Sundown speakers.. Amazing subs, just make sure you get a good amp. Always look at the RMS ratings, not the MAX.. If your sub wants 600watts RMS, then you need an amp that can do 600watts at RMS (or more).

And whoever said to check out stereo shops is right.. Go listen to setup's so you know what to look for.
