90% ? I don't know about that. My wife and I both can drive MT and all of our adult kids can. I doubt the number who cannot drive a MT, versus who choose not to is no where near that high. Let's be honest unless you just got your license in the last say 10 years you know or knew how to drive a MT.

I got my license almost 18 years ago, and I don't really know how to drive an MT. I mean, I know the basics, but my only exposure was my buddy's BMW back in high school. MT's have been dead in the US for a lot longer than 10 years.

In mid-size segment in the US, only Nissan and Toyota currently offer MT. When I was buying mine last month, there were only 3 DC OR MT in the whole state of Texas - 1 in Amarillo and 2 in Houston. I bought one from Houston. It was made in December so it didn't sit on the lot for long.

Nah, I'm good. My man card isn't bound by transmission choice.

I believe the 2wd Colorado still comes with a Manual and the coming Jeep Gladiator pickup will too.

I definitely think less of a man who cant operate one. And definitely think less of his opinion on something he cant even operate.

I never gave an opinion an MT's. Them being dead in the US is a statistical fact.

And if you honestly judge someone by their transmission usage, you're the one who should be thought less of. lol

Send some 2019 to Pa. My dealer cannot keep them on the lot, plenty of used ones but not new 19s. Keep your truck and wait for the 2020

Strange. Before I bought my 19 I was shopping for a 16,17 used or certified used and those things really held their value. Most were starting at around 31k for a 2 year old truck with 30-50k miles TRD sports. I had to go out to 2nd gens if I wanted something in the low 20s high teens.

I interact with lots of people with my job and have tons of downtime to fill with small talk, the numbers that enjoy rowing their own gears anymore have to be less than even the 10% that he quoted. Last year in 2018 2% of vehicles sold had MT's , those stats trump your anecdotal family experience.

To me its three pedal only in sports cars but even that doesn't hold true anymore. Sports cars are selling more and more AT's and beginning soon will only offer MTs to enthusiast at a premium.

Ha. That's rich coming from a guy who bought and sold 8 trucks in the past 10 years. Money/ business management doesnt sound like a strong point for you.

Or maybe it is, seeing I can afford to do so, assume much? Rich one can make such an assumption as yours based solely on one's vehicle buying power...

See you like to hang out in the 3rd gen section, despite not having one...

Most exotics don't even come in traditional manual anymore. They're almost all auto with paddle shift.

Exotic vehicles aren't in the budget of people who equate manliness with a stick shift so doubt we will see that change anytime soon.

Which has completely killed my passing interest in them. For example, this bad boy was chillin' at local Saturday meet:

I barely noticed the Enzo behind it.

How fast can you dig a hole with an excavator? Can you pilot an airboat? Motorcycle? Back a boat down a ramp?

    Man card what?
