Thinking about trading my 05 Tacoma for a 09.

Which Tacoma? Keep the 2005 or get the 2009

  1. Go with the 2009 Tacoma

    56.5%
  2. Stay with the 2005 Tacoma

    43.5%

Well known for his home budget, dept, and financial books and education programs such as Financial Peace University classes....a big point of his is to pay with cash, live within your means...

It's good you're keeping your truck. Very good looking 05 IMO. I wouldn't worry about the mileage, if I can get 254,000+ in my 88 S-10 and it's a Chevrolet for pete's sake, then your Tacoma will surely get over 500,000.

Stay with the 05. I had to go by the dealer today for my other vehicle and parked my 05 next to a new 09. UGLY tail lights!!! That turned me off right there.. although I did like the color of the truck I was next to. Not sure if the other bells and whistles are worth it for the loss you'll take on your truck on a trade. If you could sell it for full KBB price as a third party then talk the dealer down on their price it might be worth it.

Having no payments though in this economy keeps me from trading in my other vehicle.
