If you do get one, specify a non-flex fuel version. This is a must if you ever think you will super charge the engine.

I agree 100% I too have one of each and they both fulfill their purposes perfectly.

But it's easier to wax your drain plug that way.

If I had to do it over again I would probably opt for a full size due to lack of amble leg room in the back seats (my boys getting bigger ). The Tacoma though great around town due to its smaller size is much too tight in the back with car seats and I feel bad for adults that have sat back there for extended periods of time.

I'm not dealing with that unichip BS. I'm aware of the work around. Simple is the best.

Eh, I like them both. I got the Tacoma so my lady would feel comfortable and because I like it too. Personally I would be happy in either.

Thanks for the replies. One of the things I forgot to mention was before my Tacoma I had a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500...reason I got the Tacoma was I was moving from Virginia to NYC and street parking would be a bitch, plus I always liked the Tacoma and this was a good opportunity to own one. Guess I am feeling the itch for a full size truck again but want to stick with Toyota.

I like Tundra's. My brother had one. It was awesome, but it was hard to park and really thirsty on gas. If it's more of a "want" than a "need," I'll vote to keep the Tacoma.
