Cool, how many did you have to go thru to get 2 to do this and how long do the other(s) have to catch on before swapping them out for ones that can?

Actually when one picked it up and started getting praised the other one went into "me too" mode and now they both try to show it off when they can. My other two cats still use litter box, but i think they will eventually get there - just need to gradually lift the litter box so they don't afraid to poop high up from the floor :D.

Cats are nasty. A big dog is the way to go. I have two Akitas and they are amazing. Get dog doors and you can leave food out if its an overnight. But I agree with the others ALL pets need attention. If you want something you can blow off consider a girl friend. She won't die if you don't feed her. And BTW if you get a pet and give it to a shelter I will personally....

That is nasty I agree. My dogs would just eat the cats not its shit. Cats smell nasty and rub their ass all over everything. And a litter box is not something I will have inside my house. An outdoor cat is not an option where I live, they don't last longer than a week.

I guess it depends on the animals living environment. My cat is an indoor cat and it doesn't smell at all, nor does it rub its ass anywhere lol..maybe other cats do, but the two i've had never have done that. In fact our dog smells worse, but he goes outside. Regarding the cat litter box in the house is an easy fix if you have a garage. I spent maybe $15 and a half hour installing a pet door into the garage so the litter box stays out there. Took the cat about a week to realize that she could go in and out. They definitely aren't as smart as dogs when it comes to the ability to learn, that's for sure

I am in total agreement about the pet doors, I have two of the largest made for my Akitas, and my former Saint Bernard. They cost about $180 a piece but last quite well. (7 years so far) As far as a cat goes with Akitas its a no go.... Akitas hunt anything that moves and the cat would be a goner in no time.

Our 2 dogs love to eat cat shit and they smell worse than cat shit, especially right after a bath (oddly enough) My 4 cats smell just fine and groom themselves better than I do.

Cats for clean and cool, dogs for smelly and goofy. :D
