I miss my cat...he was a genuine retard, but extremely loyal to me and bit all my friends. I chose not to eat him.

    Something else to think about.

Some cats are ok on there own, but kittens NEED activity. I have found over the years that having 2 cats is a good thing. Especially if they are litter mates and already acquainted. They will keep each other amused on the days that you have to work late. We got 2 cats about 9 years ago. We ended up with a kitten 2 years ago. About a year ago one of our original cats died. It was good that we had gotten the kitten, he has taken over the home. Our older cat is ok with him, they are companions now.

Some cats are cute and affectionate but not all. I prefer dogs. But whatever you do just make sure you are up to the responsibility.

naw the one id be adopting is free, id never buy a cat, just 600 dollars for vet bills, cat toys, food, litter and anything else it may need or want

I had a dog but she passed this winter, she was an australian sheppard my parents got around the time i was born, i love dogs but i like cats better and really cant have dogs at my house because of wood floors, dogs were already a no no before i moved in.

haha if the land lord says no, when i finally can buy my own home i might get a puma :spy: halfway joking haha

My roommate has a cat and I hate the damn thing. He runs in front of my legs trying to trip me as I go down the stairs. Then at the bottom he stops at the bottom stair turns over and wants me to pet him as I am about to step on him. He walks in front of me and slows down at other locations. He randomly claws me for no legitimate reason. He wakes me up at night and wont shut up until I toss her outside. And then there is the hair....THAT DAMN SHEDDING HAIR!!! If he wants me to scratch his belly, he gets into position just out of reach so I have to get off my couch just to pet the stupid thing? This cat exemplifies the worst attributes of women with non of the perks the woman brings. I'd go with a dog if I were you...thats just me though.
