Truck looks legit - they're going for top dollar because it's very clean, low mileage, and 1st gens are in high demand. The description says it was dealer maintained/original frame so there's a good chance Toyota applied that under coating.

All that can be verified if you can find out which dealer did the service. I wouldn't be surprised if the original owner was some old dude that took it to the same place he bought it since new. :notsure:

Undercoating doesn't do a shit to 1st st gen frame - hence all the frames replaced under the 15 years warranty. Undercoating applied over already rusted frame makes things even worse. It looks nice at the sales lot but it is just cover up, not a fix or part if maintenance. I'd rather buy clean frame California truck with 200k miles than NJ rusted 45k. It's way easier and cheaper to replace the engine than the whole frame. And on any sign of pimping or covering up I'd turn around and run like hell. Polished turd is still a turd no matter what dealer says.

Myself I would rather build a new frame then pull a engine

    cyberbug freshold taco....
I got similar deal 17,500 out of door with 55,000 miles from Subaru Dealer of Plano, if you need financial for this , just go to lightstream.com , they will finance it , expect 7 to 10 APR depending on credit score.

The carfax tells is a 100% NJ truck, yes those are top dollar because of mileage and condition , now call with the vin will to any toyota dealer and they will tell when they applied that undercoating....you may get a boroscope for $16 dollars.... I took plenty of pictures of inside and outside the frame when I got it, mine has little time at MS and most of time at Texas , It call my attention your pictures have kind of similar coating... I removed all that old coating and the frame was pristine condition , then I applied eastwood inside the frame and chassis saver outside , it's a solid frame.

Well... my 2 cents experience if you want to see media album i posted and the tip where to get the money !!! $$$$ GLWP let us know
