I’m in Tomball (North westish part of Harris County). Harris county taxes are high so I’d recommend moving to Montgomery, Waller County (much cheaper) or Fort Bend, in that order. There’s great medical services all over the area. My wife works in the Medical Center currently where there’s a ton of services but The Woodlands has a lot of medical services also.

Crime all over Harris County is getting bad but it’s better the further out you get. The leadership in the county and city of Houston is seriously lacking. When you have judges releasing murders on $100 dollar bonds there’s a serious issue.
