The insurance company might like that stuff. I tend to watch the road, check my mirrors, pay attention to the other vehicles around me. Like every one on the road should do. The vehicle does not need to do it for you. The ability to operate motor vehicles is probably what has advanced mankind into what we are today.

wtf does that even mean, dude? You said "when the battery dies and you need to move the seat". As though not being able to start your vehicle is secondary to not being able to move the seat.

Yeah like when shawty needs a jump. Or when you have get something from the rear of a two door vehicle vehicle. Power seats move slowly manual seats are a better design.

I am not a fan of power seats moving front and back. The up down and fine adjustments are nice.

You still need to get the car boosted before you can start the damn thing. I don't see how having seat functionality with a vehicle that cant start is beneficial.

I was only screwing around, but let's truly look at this. Let's start with it's a manual transmission with out a clutch cancel switch. Even in neatral some require the clutch pedal to be press down to start.

And that's about all I got for now.

pretty damn specific situation to be whining about unless it literally just happened. You're honestly digging about as hard as someone trying to hide a body in ahurry to come up with a situation where power seats are a hassle.

I agree with you about the powertrain.
I’ve owned several manual cars and trucks.
Of course, a manual transmission has to be shifted. The Tacoma automatic transmission can be shifted if you like, just without a clutch, and it won’t upshift in S-mode unless you shift it up from 1st through the gears, or you can keep it in any gear. It’ll run up to 5000 RPM when manually shifting it. I haven’t taken it to redline.

It won’t hunt for gears if you want to keep it from hunting. Just keep it in the right gear with higher RPM’s, just like with a manual that needs to be in the right gear for power.

At least with the Tacoma automatic you can keep it in any gear and RPM without a clutch and still eat your burger, fries or Subway sandwich, and drink your soda or coffee at any time you like. ;-)

With a manumatic transmission, you have the choice if you want it.

Glad to hear your opinion, but an auto with selective shifting is not comparable to manual in any way. Having a clutch is truly what makes the manual so versatile, IMO the only automatic transmissions that are comparable to a manual are dual clutch transmissions.
For the record I can eat/drink and drive a manual, I just choose not to and wait till I get home so my truck stays nice and clean.
