Out of those options I'd say a 4 runner if you can swing it. You have a very nice truck though.

He never mentioned the quality issues. I would like to know. Maybe it’s the long bed?

He just mentioned the quality was low for a Toyota.

Is it paid off? If so, or if it's close, do you really want to go back into a large debt? Keeps me from thinking seriously about getting something newer.

Couldn't agree more, my 2nd gen was a short bed and my 3rd gen is a long bed. To be honest I never even tell the difference, I just park.

I have the same dilemma thinking about getting rid of my second gen DCLB for a 3g short bed with manual. Only reason I haven't is because the 2nd gens aren't being made anymore.

If you don't need the bed go with a T4R man.

I test drove a DCLB and I could feel the extra length as I drove even though it’s only a foot. It didn’t feel like a Tacoma. I drove the DCSB and it felt right, bought it. Aesthetically, the DCLB looked out of proportion. I don’t haul much so it’s perfect for my purposes. I realize the long bed suits the needs of some.

I learned how to park the hard way in North Jersey in the ‘70’s. If you couldn’t park a large vehicle in a tiny cramped space you weren’t going to be able to go anywhere. It became a game among the locals who could cram into the smallest space. It is absolutely a perishable skill.

The Tacoma 0-60 is like .1 to .3 seconds different than the ZR2 diesel. So it’s thats a dog, certainly the Tacoma is too

They’ll complain about the positioning of the button or that it’s too hard to push... it is known...

No doubt about that, you either have it or don't. Yeah North Jersey is crazy compared to South in that regard.

First world problems. Blame the truck instead of your own ineptitude. The new solution isn’t to learn how to park anymore, it’s to create some technology to do it for you.

WTF is wrong with this world? Common sense has gone out the window...
