Thinking of trading in my Tacoma

    So Im in love with my Tacoma but recently I have been useing it for work a lot more and also towing with it alot.. I have a 18' car hauler and a samurai crawler. Ive been thinking about trading it in for a full size truck with more power... The tacoma hauls it but just dosent have the power and I dont want to push it to hard and put to much stress on anything. What would you guys consider for a full size truck?? Should I do it?

    Why not install a supercharger and keep a vehicle that will have a better resale down the line.

    I have though about doing some performance add ons, i have a cat back exhaust, intake, and throttle body spacer, would adding headers do much? or is supercharger the best bang for the money?

    3" lift. American racing 15'' rims. 33x12.50 BFG A/T tires. tool box. ARB bumper, mile marker winch, kc highlights. No carpet inside sprayed with bed liner. Kicker door speakers. Alpine head unit.
    Well if you do go full size a tundra or a Cummins diesel is the only way to go!

    If you need a hauler get a full size... you're not doing your Tacoma any favors by running it into the ground and you ought to get the right "tool" for the job. I'd get a lower miles 2004+ Ram 2500 HD with Hemi or Cummins. They are strong and decently priced.

    Let someone else enjoy the Tacoma for what its meant to do, my 2cents

    If you get a diesel full-size, go for a GM - the Allison automatic transmission is the best out of the Big 3.

    Keep the taco and buy a cummins. Or better yet, drop a 4 cylinder cummins in your taco and have the best of both worlds

    even a half ton would do way better pulling a car hauler. dont need a diesel to pull that small of a load..

    Yeah, you don't need a diesel... I wouldn't get one, but it's an option. I would however get a 3/4 ton.

    If you're going through the trouble to get rid of a vehicle and getting a new one to tow, you might as well get something a couple steps up that's designed to do the job well. You'll get better cooling and stronger trans, frame, and suspension. If you're just gonna get something barely one step up with a 1/2 ton, why bother?
