You can adjust the infotainment settings so you can double tap the unlock button on your key/fob combo to unlock the whole truck. Or you can change the settings to unlock the whole truck and lock the whole truck with one push instead o just the driver side, right?

$130?! And that’s on sale  I’d need to get part numbers... but yeah that looks extremely easy to make.

Agree, there are a number of talented folks here. MESO and DSIM were early innovators and we are seeing more “one-off” work. lapoltba, kmorgan and puppypunter come to mind.

Lazy? But are you skilled? Handle- connector, terminals, wires (x2) routed to Certification ECU- connector C29, 2 terminals crimped and inserted. Securing wire - cerveza.

That doesn't require much skill. I just don't wanna vampire tap the C-ECU to be honest.

We found parts for that section of the harness and it’s very reasonably priced. @caribe makaira made a design for this harness a couple of years back (actually... it might be the exact design they used without giving him credit). The issue is the terminals for the handle connector. If we can find the actual source of those terminals instead of going through Toyota for their pre-crimped version ($25/ea!!) then we could build a full harness with OEM connectors. It’d be very affordable.

I'm glad u guys do what u do cause there's no way in hell I'd be able to source any of that shit haha.

While we're talking about wiring, anyone know where I can source high quality, short sections of heavier wire? I need a couple of 2' sections of 4-2awg wire. I don't wanna buy the chinesium CCA stuff from Amazon.

I just leave my Fob in my pocket and feel around for the buttons. So I draw attention to myself playing a bit of pocket pool outside Target. Who hasn’t?

We found the terminals for less than a dollar. So if someone wants to be a guinea pig we really could make this for cheap. Just throwing it out there. $130 is offensive now that we have prices for everything.
