Negative off-set is the way to go.

The OEM shortbed Tailgate lock runs through the passenger kick panel. I believe the longbed runs through the driver side.

I can't remember the name it was 100$ pretty sure it's just a Chinese rebrand. It works OK ill likely swap it for a factor 55 I'm the future. Iv gotten a good 30 or so tugs out of it and it's been fine but I feel like it doesn't have much stretch.
It's a 30' 7/8

 

Welcome, I'm new here as well.

You will find a handful of cheerleaders here who will piss and moan at you if you don't do what they would do, but for the most part people can be pretty helpful.

Mine came with these running boards and I took them off because they aren't much more than cosmetic.

There are plenty of folk here who are OPINIONATED and that's a good description of folks who tell you what they like.

If, for some reason said "folk" highly impress a suggestion...don't take it...unless proven otherwise.

At the end of the day, OP's happiness is all that matters.

......most of the mods that get ragged on are mods used for "posing".....the functional mods are fine because they are really used......but adding a tent, bed racks, trac boards, flat gas containers, shovels, bitch lights, 4 inch lift on a daily driver seems extreme
