Yup my f150 leaked from the sunroof so I knew my next vehicle I didn't want one. I know its not a common issue and most dont experience it but I dont even use the sunroof anyway

That is exactly the problem I found. I looked up the TSB and they are really just following procedure. The dealership strips the vehicle and the mold remediation company comes in and sprays. They are lazy though and instead of lifting up the soundproofing and spraying underneath it, they just spray over the top. Mine has been good for a month now, finally glad to have all this behind me finally.

once mold takes hold, it's nearly impossible to get rid of completely. and there's nothing you can do about the mycotoxins except get rid of the interior.

My son was poisoned by his Tacoma for 3 years. Toyota knew about issue since 2018.
We have been to numerous Doctors o we past 4 years now. Class action needs to be brought against Toyota. Large corporations do this all the time. They evaluate situation what is going to cost more recall or lawsuits. They figured in this case less people would be affected by a water leak. So let’s roll with no recall for four years. My son complained of chest pains and trouble breathing for years and coughing up black debris and sometimes blood!!
Yes blood. There was also 76 year old man. Complaining of same issues. They had truck for three months. Once my son was out of the truck within six weeks he went from 156 pounds to 175 pounds. Look what black mold does to the mind in the body. They truly affected my son’s life for three years. And many other people out there. Beyond mad!!

Exactly, why Toyota does not want you to leave in the truck when the problem is identified, liability...
