I did happen to buy an extended warranty when I bought my 08 prerunner, it was an extra 2000$ didn't think much about it.... Well 8000 miles later my 3 gear scyro started acting up and ended costing 1750$ to replace it, all of which was covered by the warrenty ended up costing me only 200$. 100$ for the deductible and another 100$ for a new throwout bearing.

I just bought a 8 year 125000 mile warranty from my Toyota dealership. It's a master tech ultra warranty. 2000$ Worth it?? i got it for a 2014 tacoma DCSB O.R. let me know what y'all think. I have 60 days to cancel it. It added about 25 bucks a month to my payment. (365$per month)

Just fyi I had an extended warranty on my mustang through fidelity. Never made a claim until my transmission popped at 55k just outside of my ford power train. They put me through all kinds of crap. And ultimately ended up denying the claim because it was a sports car and I "I Abused the transmission"

1500.00 extended warranty to cover 150 K worthless. Although they did refund my money after they refused the claim

If one puchased an extended warranty through the dealer at time of sale within the past 5 months, is it possible to use this better pricing (or term) to change or upgrade the extended warranty?
