You fail to see the very obvious difference between those.

One has an intact windshield (normal circumstances), the other (the rollover) does not. Any rollover that impacts the A-pillar = compromised windshield

Still waiting for those links though...

Incidentally, the word "windshield" (or "windscreen") does not appear once in your entire list of studies you mention.

...just thinking out loud, but I would imagine that 'being a tailgater' would get you more front end chips, that windshield damage.

As I said, would you even read them? Obviously not. You want links, copy/paste any of the sources I referenced for you into google. Bonus points for using Google Scholar. I could literally post the DOI links (which take you directly to the publication source), and you wouldn't read them. I'm not posting references to change your mind. I posted them to show that within 30 seconds, those references can be found, when you thought you'd call my bluff. Anyone else can draw their own conclusions if they so care. Published research is out there, and you don't really even have to look hard to find it.

FWIW, you have to read the articles, not just skim the titles for keywords that make you happy. Each citation revolves around vehicle roof design and its role in occupant safety (specifically to the head/neck; y'know, because rollover....). Read the articles, keyword search "windshield." It'll be more than you care to read. Which is not much apparently.

You're the one who's view seems to be in dispute here (and not just by me, but by many), so it's your duty to post the links.

Until then, I got other things to do.

    Cheers!

I'm the only one who's provided empirical data to support my claims. Whether you (or "many" others) disagree, thats on you. The fact remains, you asked for references, I gave them. I can't give you food, chew it for you, and spit it in your mouth for you; at some point, you gotta do the reading part yourself. You're more than welcome to provide references for your claims, which are only opinions backed by nothing at this point. My duty has been fulfilled, and others can draw their own conclusions from it. You're still more than welcome to disagree with the data; I didn't write the publications, I have no affiliation, so it doesn't hurt my feelings. I just gave you what you asked for, when you thought I wouldn't/couldn't. Again, its not hard to find. I'll even teach you. PM if you want
