Its all good. It may have more to to with ability than cost or time. You have to take into consideration that I put this 06 tundra 1st picture.jpg
    into this
DSCN6623.jpg And got this out of the two
DSC00297.jpg And I did it for no other reason than I was board! LOL

So I have been messing with the donor cab. Since it is the rainy season, I wanted to get some doors and windows put on it. The drivers door was there so I just had to put the glass in. Before I did though, I had a roll of window tinting and decided to practice. I also got a dented door shell from the wreaking yard for the pass side.DSC00517.jpg DSC00518.jpg . Have you ever used Super clean? I do and I think pretty darn good. So I make it Super duper clean by using a pressure washer. I then one up it some more by adding some hot water to the pressure washers inlet. The result is a "Super duper King pressure washer clean". Said 5 times fast. hear is the before and afters.

I learned it from my wife's dad. He took the old couch out side and washed it with a hose and let it dry for a few days. He then sold it on craigslist for like 100 which he got for free. I thought he was crazy. When it comes to seats and what not, what do you have to lose? It was garbage anyways, right? The key is allowing it to dry. I have the stuff in the garage now hanging with a heater running.

Yeah, don’t let it dry and you get what my buddy had: mushrooms growing on his carpet.

Ahh highschool in the foothills of CA gold country: those were the days...

Just a couple of pictures I took today showing my ghetto tint job. Is far as progress goes, I put a steering column in the truck and a battery. Nothing is known of the 2.4 4 banger. Whoever bought the bed took the wiring including the fuel pump wires. Tomorrow I will get into my old Tacoma harness and fish it out. It is probably good though the truck has had the fuel cap off for a while. Probably all water in there. Anyway the engine turned over and sounded normal as anyone could tell. I was thinking of moving the e-brake to the center console like a 4 runner. Anyways that's that.DSC00536.jpg DSC00537.jpg

    I see it's a 5 lug - are you restoring it as a 5 lug or making it a 6 lug?

Been meaning to ask you, what kind of jack/jackstand setup do you use? I could never get my truck high enough off the ground with the 3 ton harbor freight jack which has a max height of 18". I stack their 3 ton jackstands on top of two pressure treated wood blocks.
