Watched a Nissan GTR eat up a new Corvette on tv last night. OP, that is fast. Our trucks are not fast. Nor do they handle well. They are adequate.

If you're worried about 0 to 60, get one of these, but the payload capacity is most likely poor.

0 - 60 in 7 seconds makes this one of the fastest vehicles I have ever owned.

This truck has plenty of power for me.

I just don't understand the hate this truck gets daily...especially on this forum.

    I love my truck.

    The hate?
Some of it is jealousy. Seriously.
Some of it is "justification" to get rid of it because they only thought they wanted a Tacoma.
And some of it is ignorance from people with unreasonable expectations.

You took the words right out of my mouth, most complaints are simply from unreasonable expectations or from buyers that did not bother to do a thorough test drive.

I wonder the same way, why guys install Volks on a Tacoma or 4runner! It's a offroad truck not a truck show!

No most of us are not. One thing I have learned here is the posters are from little kids to old men. Some owners are experts on vehicles and some know nothing. Education levels are from high school dropout to PhD. We have loggers, engineers, plumbers, lawyers and pretty much everything in between. So no, i might laugh at a post and tease around but I definitely don't make fun of people.

When I said “mAke fun of” I meant teasing as he made a thread sounding like these trucks are race cars. I’m having a laugh.

22re in my 95 crawler has no balls, but once it's in double low has plenty of torque. Not how fast you can go..its about how reliable your truck is.

No, it is more like turning off the a/c button in a old 4 cylinder
