Installed a toytec boss 3 inch lift 2 1/2ish weeks ago, finally got around to getting it aligned about 5 or 6 days after.

starting friday the 14th i have a clunking sound, and i cannot find it.

    when it occurs:
    • Full lock left only
    • moving forward under 8 mph
    • only forward
    What i have checked
    • cv
    1. no play more than 1/8 inch as recommended
    2. no clicking
    3. boot folds don't touch
    • clearance is good
    1. tire to truck
    2. uca to coil over
    3. sway bar to coil gets close but doesn't touch
    • entire rack a pinion
    1. its real good
    • sway bar
    1. nothing is broken or disconnected

My Motha Fuckin brain hurts, i can replicate it when the truck is running and i drive forward but cannot on jacks. All the trouble shooting drives i have done are on paved flat parking lots. Again this only happens at crawling speeds, give is some gas and its gone.

The only solution i have is to never go slow... ever...

I am also going to re torque everything this weekend if not early next week.

Check the alignment cam bolts if they are torqued. Should be 100 lbft.

I will check that out after work today. Didn't even have a second thought about those, too much trust in les schwab.

    you say full lock.

Have you greased where the spindle hits the LCA at lock? Or back off a smide at full lock (thats hard on you PS pump anyways)

No i was going to grease everything when i re-torqued. I try not to turn full lock, but my office parking lot has a little tiny road and a gated little tiny entrance, so no jumping curbs and you have to hit it pretty straight or you will the right fender.

I am going out on a limb here, and don't know a whole lot, but if you can't replicate it on stands, could it be the shock or spring? Having it elevated would allow the shock to be further travelled and may not be in the same place as when not on stands. Just a thought...
