I heard that they will first be available internationally in the Hilux line. Then later after extensive testing they will offer it in Canada first then the year after in the US.

just with tuning, added vvti, and different intake assembly design, toyota squeezed out about 34hp out of the original 4.0. i wonder what a little more stroke, direct injection, etc could bring? >300hp? other brands have em, chrysler, ford, chevy. Toyota has to catch up. My main reason for keeping my truck until something meaningful is under that hood. sc standard, maybe not logical in their eyes, but some serious tuning and added technology could definitely get more power out of these motors, efficiently. Call me crazy, but a lil more stroke on each cylinder with the same bulletproof block could net those extra 12 cubes, and thats maybe all this motor needs to hit the mark toyota wants.

Sorry to offend. I am pretty ignorant when it comes to those things. But why would they make him do a video and also about information that isn't solid?

So you call me an asshole and think I'm ignorant because I have a favorite part? Did I say it was funny? He could've easily had the jitters from being on camera.

Either way doesn't matter, his info/knowledge was flawed so I'm not buying his "breaking news, insider information".

    Calm down Spencer.

Im very calm...I spent a lot of time working on my speech problems when I was a kid and it was hard work overcoming those "jitters"..

I was lucky to have parents who helped me for hours every day and I can say now that I rarely stutter anymore.

I think that you should apologize to yourself for making an ignorant statement, and trying to be funny because you then baited someone else to make an ignorant statement right after you.

Spencer, I applaud you for overcoming your speech problems as a youth. It also sounds like you were fortunate to have good understanding parents to help you out when you needed it, and I'm glad that you did.

However I do believe you have taken my comment a little too serious.
I didn't "bait" anyone. If you are refering to me saying someone should call. I said that because the guy regardless of his "speaking ability on camera", doesn't know what he is talking about.... So it might be funny to hear what kind of smoke he'd blow trying to answer questions. But because you are sensitive to the speech part, understandably so. You jumped to a conclusion thinking it was for that reason, because I said en en engine was my favorite part.

Truth be told Spencer when I was in 2nd grade I befriended a boy who had a severe stuttering problem, and after being around him for some time I actually started to have stuttering issues myself. But I unlike you didn't have both parents behind me together to help me the same way you did. So it took me working hard on it myself to overcome it.

Last but not least, I appoligize if I have offended you or anybody else. Things are often taken wrong thru words on a screen, especially when you don't know how that person is and who they are. I most definetly have nothing against anyone with any disability, and it's not my intention to make "fun" of it.

Good apology man....was the right thing to do. It's a sensitive issue for people who had to deal with that. Those of us who never had to, are lucky.
