Wow that sure looks like lots of damage for the air bags to not deploy, but as Jeff Foxworthy would say ... both air bags were deployed and left the truck after the accident.... his wife and his mother in law.

 

Definitely doesn't mean a bent frame. Core support bent will do same thing and frame will be straight.

I didn't just see this thing from 30 feet. I was next to it looking at it. It's much more damaged then that pic may show.

Trust me this is a truck that someone wants to buy. Even the body guys who have frame machines know it's never 100% again.

 

I wouldn't believe a single word out of the mouth of most dealership empliyees. Including the general manager. Unless, it is writing on a signed/legal document.

That's why the only thing that matters is the purchase contract. Service contract. Work orders. Purchase invoices.

Most everything else is useless BS and noise.

That's different and I agree. This was just normal conversation. No reason for anyone to lie. At least I'd like to believe not.

 

There is really no problem here. This truck obviously belongs to the guy who, right after he buys a new truck, throws a rock at it so that subsequent dings don't hurt as much.

 

Um, it appears the bumper hasn't been touched. If you sit down and think really, really hard about where the frame is located on a Tacoma vs. pushing all upper panels in, you most likely come to the realization the frame is ok.

Try and think it out and let us know what you come up with.... Good luck, and don't hurt yourself.
