I just did a metric to inches conversion, and that is only a hair slightly less thick than the 4 thin washers that I used, so that makes me feel a little better too, since you haven't had any problems. it has been several days now since I put the washers in and I haven't had the PCS OFF light come on since. However, I haven't driven a lot either, so I am still watching and waiting. Thanks for the update!

Im sorry I dont know what size of screw I used. I remember it was a self tapping screw because it had to grab onto the plastic that the radar was mounted too. It was also none rusting. The first screw I used rusted and I had to replace it. I had a parts bin I went thru to find a screw that would fit and not rust. I went thru a few before I found one that worked. Sorry I cant give you an exact size

I’m only having issues with mine when it’s raining or there’s condensation. What is this TSB that people have mentioned and how do i get one?

I'm having the same problem...I've used no washers up to 5 trying to get this damn thing angled properly....does it have to have the same angle as the garnish?....no matter how many or little I use I can't get it to shut it off.....do you guys unhook your negative terminal for your battery in between adding or taking out new washer?....also did you leave the sensor plugged in while adding them?.....I'm really at a loss, I wired everything on my own truck and my winch and full front bumper, so I'm not that stupid lol

    A few.
One washer did the job on mine. Unplugged the sensor because I removed the grill to install it.

Just went back and tried 1 washer again, no luck...it seems like when I tighten the side screws it points it downwards on a angle

Is any part of your winch or front bumper in front of the garnish?

Well after about 1500 miles when I got back from my trip the next morning I started my truck to go to work and the problem is back. I guess I will keep trying to figure this bullshit out.

Not the pro grill, but the pcs is moved to the approximate same location. I was having multiple lights and messages. Pcs malfunction, brake light, abs light, and traction control. I messed around for a week or so with washers trying to adjust my sensor. Finally I took all washers out and drove it for a day or so. I was still intermittently getting errors. I took my negative battery cable off for 20 minutes or so before we drove for approximately 700 miles. I used my cruise control the whole trip and so far not one time have I gotten any lights or messages. Hopefully my issue is fixed. The reason I went back to no washers on my sensor was that I didn't get the failures as often with that set up. When I first installed the grill I didn't have an issue until the 3rd or 4th time I drove the truck so probably the next day. I tried 1, then 2 then 3 washers and the problem seemed to get worse each time so I went back to 0 washers. I would still get lights, but not as often and sometimes I could restart the truck and get rid of them. So I figured let me try disconnecting the battery and do a reset before this trip and maybe between that and a road trip while using the radar cruise it will recalibrate. Like I said no issues the whole trip. Hopefully this will help some of you fix your problem.

Same thing here. My aftermarket grill pointed the sensor to the ground which was giving me an error. Asked Toyota to take a look at it during an oil change, and the tech told me how to fix it, so i wouldnt get charged. I shoved a 1/4 inch rubber washer/gasket behind the bottom of the sensor and it fixed it instantly.
