Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.

Read your top quote one more time. There are people on this board who have suffered not because of planning or spending beyond their means, but because of circumstances beyond their control. For you to say they put themselves in a bad spot is like slapping them in the face.

I have yet to see someone on here say they shouldn't have bought this or that. I ALWAYS see them either saying they are saving for it or simply not buying it because they cannot afford it at this time.

You obviously didn't research your options if you are on here complaining about not having any time for yourself or your girl.

Dude... go part time and make $6.50 an hour flipping burgers if you want some me time. These days, I don't have much sympathy for somebody who works hard, but makes "$150k plus bonus." I'm with the second poster... GFY

98 tacoma, now that is a great reply. You are 100% correct SOME folks were just left in a bad spot. I lumped the rephrase part into one because I have family members that bought the house or car they could not afford and then ask me and or my dad for money to "bail them out". I guess I am somewhat "miffed" by SOME peoples lack of planning. I apologize to anyone where this comes off the wrong way. I am sure some of you guys are just in a bad spot.

Well I did ny research on the job, but not on my drive to finish the work with my whatever it takes mentality. So yes this is my fault. LIke the thread said, my pitty pot.

Well I am out for a few hours, I will jump on during dinner and hopefully not see to many flames . . .

Thanks for taking the time to clarify my statement 98.

You're a total tool. Did you just decide to find a way to come on here and brag about what you make, and what you can buy with it? I hope you have a lot of expensive toys, b/c a douche like you isn't going to have many friends to occupy his time.

    STFU.

Pretty much an ignorant thread/poster- Lots of folks who have no jobs right now did not make a choice that put them there. You have a job and you chose to let it control so much of your life.
I wouldn't expect to hear much sympathy for your "shitty" situation- You have a job in a time when having a cushion like that is clutch.

Get your head outta your ass.

There is nothing more classless than posting your salary which shows immaturity and poor judgement. So either you're full of shit or just an incompetent asshole.

Either way, your reputation on this forum is now soiled.

No one is telling you to apologize, we are telling you to keep your salary to yourself. I’m sure many of us work just as hard as you, if not harder and make a fraction of what you claim to make. Try working 60 hours a week, with a family at home wondering if you’re ok. Do you ever go to work and wonder if this will be the day someone tries to kill you? I doubt it. If so, money would be the last thing you would be concerned with. If you want to start a thread called I work so hard I can’t ever see my family, I’m all for it. Otherwise STFU.

I disagree. He does owe an apology... a big fat 'sorry for being a self-absorbed ass' to anybody who ever comes in contact with him.
