While I used to use her and abuse her, after 9 years and 64k though miles she's retired to a nice life of the occasional hardware store run or camping trip. And there are a few members on here who now have her old skids, winch and other accessories. She always gets parked in the garage...unless I backed into the garage and am awaiting a new one. I was down in Florida working and my wife sent me this. About sent me into siezures. Ice and Sun, my arch enemies! As soon as the new door was installed I had to call a friend over to back her up;)

Yes, because the rusted out quarter panels and fender wells of the North East evoke the message "Doesn't hurt anything"

I just did a brake job for a friend on his 2003 Chevy full size who came from Wisconsin. It was nasty, all the bushings were shot and huge chunks of metal where falling from the control arms. Yes, salt plays a major role but the repetitious wet, frozen, wet cycle doesn't help any. I still plan on having this truck in 20 years. Yours, will not last that long.

Ugh. I used to live in a snowbelt region. I don't miss that shit at all. Destroys your vehicle.

I also would gladly take earthquakes over bitter cold, torrential rain, the racist dude at the farm store, rude customer service, smokers and cops that don't follow simple rules of the road; but sometimes work makes you move. As an Oregonian I will definitely be returning to the West Coast to chill among my Volcanoes.

Edit: Did I mention sub-standard schools, lack of recycling options and ignorance beyond belief.

Why are you so afraid of ice cold water? Did you have a bad experience on ice as a child?

Ice will melt. Earthquakes destroy lives and property. I would take an ice storm anytime over an earthquake. The ground may get slippery with ice but at least it's not moving.

I agree. No one has ever frozen to death or lost their life due to an accident caused by ice.

It's 40° F and blowing 20-30mph here. Yeah, you suck.

That's about the same here. Maybe 45°. However, it feels great compared to -10° to 20° that we've had for the last 3 months. T shirt weather now!

I'm from NC just like OP. Since i live in coastal NC i hardly ever see this icy weather, which is why people freak out when they do see it down here!

Only this forum can have an argument about ice.

    I don't see anyone arguing.
