I guess I never noticed this before but the driver side leaf pack seems to have only 2 leaf plus the overload and the passenger side has 3 plus overload. Possible that Toyota did the TSB for one side only?

I only noticed because I’m looking to do a add a leaf and or buy new leaf packs.

I’m the second owner and the truck is far out of warranty. Any advice on what you guys would do here? BFF89FA1-02EF-493B-A2AB-6882CB534219.jpgCD679ECD-482D-4F5F-90DA-A3A861C086C6.jpg

Find a cheap OEM used set in your area from guys lifting their trucks and replace with new set. Or go aftermarket.

Interesting I wonder what happened. Anyway, the 6lug regular cabs come with the 2 leaf pack so I’m willing to bet that’s where that one came from.

You can probably source some stock ones pretty easy, I’d just replace them both then do the AAL.

I’m wondering that same thing. According to all records this truck was maintained very well at a dealership before I got my hands on it. Wondering if the dealer just did the TSB for the leaf pack on one side

It had Taco lean, but a spacer fixed it so it wasn’t extreme

that would be opposite of what OP has, as the lean is usually on the drivers side so if someone tried to compensate for the lean the drivers springs should have been the one with the additional leaf?

We only have one decent junkyard here on my island, I texted them already about the only 2nd gen in their lot currently. If it ends up having the 3+1 I’ll try to get that and go with a add a leaf setup.

maybe this is why my ride has been so crap.

I’m also curious to know if this might be the cause of my truck pulling to the right, I’ve changed almost every component under the truck (needed a refresh anyway) and my alignment is dead on but it still pulls slightly to the right

My father is lives up there, maybe when I come visit I can bring uhm back on the plane haha.

Would probably be a way better ride with your 3rd gen leaf packs too.

4wheel parts get some in stock right now some icons and ARB but not too sure I wanna go that route just yet

Stay away from that place. They over charge for everything. Check out some other places. Top notch got the atlas for around 900 in hilo.

all the 4wheel places here are insane

let me know when you do get your new packs I’d definitely be interested in trying to get those. I’m not sure I’m gonna find a 4 leaf pack as I’m pretty sure the 2nd gen in the junkyard is a 2010. And chances are probably just a blown out. Yours probably aren’t sagging yet
